140th Birthday Celebration

Bill and Mary Lee Lieser celebrated both their 70th birthdays on July 18th. Wonderful dinner was followed by an Eric Mintel concert!

Jack:

Mary Lee and I wanted you to know how pleased we were with our "140th Birthday Celebration" at Occasions in New Hope. Tammy organized everything beautifully and many guests commented on the excellent food. Thank you for all of your suggestions.

We also want to note our appreciation to Cathy on her flexibility on some of our late adjustments.

The evening was a wonderful experience for all our family and friends!

Best Regards,

Bill Lieser

Gradusation Party @ Fonthill Castle

Hi Jack,

This past Sunday, we hosted a graduation party for our son and his best friend. The party was at Fonthill in Doylestown and we used your company as the caterer.

On behalf of our family (and our co-hosts, the Rhodes family), we just want to say THANK YOU for the amazing job by Cathy Skudris and her staff at the party. It was wonderful in every way and we got so many compliments on how nice the party was, how delicious the food was, how great your staff was, how smoothly everything went and how much fun everyone had.

More than one person made a point to seek us out to tell us it was the nicest graduation party they had ever been to.

Cathy made everything so easy for us - judging the type of crowd we were having, allowing it to be fancy enough for the adults and casual enough for the many high school kids in attendance and taking care of every detail, so that the whole event ran smoothly. Her expertise and professionalism took all the worry and hassle out of our day, and allowed us to enjoy the party as much as our guests. She really is an asset to Memorable Affairs and we just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated everything she did.

Thanks,

Mike Hughes

Memorable Affairs Continues to Support A Woman's Place

Hi Jack -

I hope the summer has been treating you well and you're staying cool in this heat. We are already back to planning for our Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy charity fundraiser for A Woman's Place of Bucks County. We had such rave reviews for the wonderful food Memorable Affairs provided last year we were hoping we might be able to book you again for our 2010 event. It is being held in the same location as last year (Tyler Hall at BCCC) on Saturday, February 13th. http://www.awomansplace.org/

Family Reunion planned from on the internet from Massachusetts

Dear Jack,

We're finally back at home base & getting to handle all our obligations & chores. The one thing that isn't a chore is to thank you sooooo much for not only great foods but 2 great gals to handle it all! Your firm had many compliments & people didn't believe that I found such an effective & efficient place on the web. We shared your napkins with those interested in contacting you, including a gal who had been in the restaurant business who raved about the food. Hopefully you will reap the rewards. Again... our thanks to you, Christine, Cathy & Connie for helping us to make this truly a Memorable Affair for our daughter & family!

Sincerely, Joan & John Brown

Bridal Shower

Hi Jack,

The shower was great. The girls did a fabulous, professional job. Set up, food, service etc. were all excellent. I was wound when they got there but when I quickly saw how good they were, I could really relax and enjoy the party. Your suggestions for setting up the tables and bar worked great and everyone raved about the food. It was a very good day for our family.

Thanks for everything,

Sandi

Love the Lobster Cobbler!

Hello-

We stayed at your inn (Lambertville House) over the weekend for a wedding. Of course our stay was
wonderful. During the reception we just loved the lobster crisp (or lobster
quiche) and the vegetable quesedillas they had for appetizers. Is it
possible to get the recipe for them?

Thank you-
Kristine

Tropical Themed Graduation Party

Cathy,

I intended to get back to you yesterday but got sidetracked. First of all, I couldn't have been more pleased with Memorable Affairs. Everything on Saturday exceeded my expectations. My only fear before the event was about the quantity of food. Did I order enough? Would you send enough? Did I order enough appetizers? Little did I know that I had nothing to worry about the food or about anything.

From the time Tammy stepped into my house, I was completely at ease. She ran the party for me, answered all of my questions and was completely unobtrusive during the entire event.. I have had experiences in the past with different caterers where they were not self-directed and needed to consult with me on everything. I usually never enjoy my own parties and feel like I can't spend time with my guests, even when it is catered. So, when I was able to "experience" and host my own party it was fantastic. Her assistant and Connie were also amazing.

I would have been thrilled with the competent service and the amount of food, alone. However, the food was absolutely delicious! I loved the appetizer table, the entree was ,a hit as well as the salad and all of the rest. Everyone kept coming up to me during the party to say how much they loved the food. Just so you know, there were several "foodies" and a friend that is a caterer and a former restaurant owner, too, who gave kudos to Memorable Affairs. Plus, I especially liked the attention to detail with the floral accessories for the tables tied into my "island theme." I put alot of thought into my party and into the details and it seemed to be matched by your amount of thought and details as well.

So, to sum it all up.From my initial meeting with Jack to my final good-bye to Tammy and her crew, I have nothing but

praise for your company. I would recommend you to anyone. I would not mind being used as a reference. And, most importantly, will plan to use you for all future events. My husband and I pride ourselves on being loyal to businesses and vendors that are good to us. It looks like we just found another one to add to our list.

Sincerely,

Linda Lawler
