Cathy,
Thank you again for all that you did to make my Mom's Surprise Party such a huge success! She still thinks it feels like a dream, but has already asked if she can have another one! You made the entire process so easy...thanks!
I can't tell you how many people commented on how nice Occasions was and how professional your staff was...and the food!!! I was told by so many how wonderful the food was-especially the crab cakes! Many said they were the BEST they had ever had! Kudos to Joe and team for all of their hard work. We enjoyed leftovers on Sunday evening.
The link below is the same recipe that my friend Lynn makes. Here are some notes:
Use 11X17 Jelly roll pan (must have sides or will make a mess in the oven)
Line baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray.
Lynn usually uses nestle semi-sweet chips, but this time used the "special dark" ones.
You can use any kind of nuts...she used chopped pecans.
Put in refrigerator or freezer to cool.
Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
Christine
